Winter Swimming, Roobaix and Montreal
Well done to everyone who braved the weather for Roobaix and dressed to impress. Thanks to our Cycling Captain Anna Spanna for coordinating. Shoutout to Deb and David Freidlander who competed at the ITU Sprint Distance Age Group World Championships in Montreal, Canada. Deb managed a top 12 finish with a time of 1:16.
Hills Descending Session
Please note due to a weekend clash with the Melburn Roobaix, the Hills Descending session with Coach Mitch will be postponed to late July or early August. Keep an eye out for details.
Summer swim champions are made in winter & to entice you into the water (it’s not too cold, I promise!) we have a fun program for us! Join SuperCoach Rachel’s 8 week program to focus on a different skill weekly.
Commit to 16 or 8 sessions, and the price is cheaper than lettuce 🥬 . Most improved will be announced at a celebratory dinner at the end of the program & take home some hot HTC swag.
As a special bonus, I’ll be leading 2 open water swims 🌊 ☀️

Coached Cycling is on Thursday morning at 6:15am at the Hawthorn velodrome. All abilities welcome, coffee afterward at Foodstore Cafe.
There will be a Saturday ride posted by Thursday or Friday each week to either Hills or Beach Road. Details on Facebook.
