Welcome to your monthly newsletter.
It was glorious to see so many HTC-ers out representing today at the annual De Castella Fun Run. Raising money for mental health is a great cause run by our very own Deeks and a special shoutout to all those who volunteered for the event.
Following our AGM earlier this month I would like to congratulate the new committee:
Presidant: Peter Kormendy
Vice President: Dave Browne
Tresurer: Nicki Scriven
Secretary: Sarah Treloar
General: Will Brack, Kaz Chau, Ana Silva, Liz Moore, Sam Zeps
I am personally really excited to see what this talented group of individuals can do to continue to push our club towards pre-COVID glory. As such we are streamlining our communication methods to ensure all members are getting real-time information and perhaps even more importantly sharing their success and photos with the HTC community. The changes are as follows:
- The new updated newsletter will be monthly to share with the entire HTC community (past and present) updates as well as give all past members FOMO.
- Instagram will be heavily engaged to share real-time photos of training, racing, and the club out and about doing what they love. Please tag #hawthorntriclub on your posts so we can reshare.
- The Facebook group will be limited to the current members who financially support our club. We will advertise both official and ad-hoc training and club events but these will be restricted to members only.
- An updated website to assist both new and current members.
