Peter Kormendy

President

Peter completed his first triathlon in 1989 and raced in the national St George tri series as a junior back in the 90s. After a long break from the sport Peter found HTC just in time for the pandemic. His ultimate goal is to complete Kona in the 80+ age group category.

David Browne

Vice President

David joined HTC in 2021 after developing a passion for cycling and running during covid lockdown. David has a background in crossfit and rowing, and looks forward to his first triathlon in season 21/22. He works as an IT consultant, but loves to get out training and get away from his desk at every opportunity.

Nickie Scriven

Treasurer

Nickie has been competing in triathlons for 27 years after completing a Try a Tri program and totally falling in love with the sport. She has raced in every distance from sprint through to Ironman. Nickie is an active member of HTC and enjoys the club atmosphere, support and camaraderie.

Sarah Treloar

Secretary

Sarah is an avid triathlete, coach and Sports Physio, who loves all things outdoors and being active. She has been a HTC member for 6 years, racing all distances from sprint through to Ironman during her time with the club.

William Brack

Will’s first triathlon was a weekbix kids triathlon, but he started triathlon more seriously at the beginning of 2019 with the 2xu series, building up to completing the geelong 70.3 in 2020. He spends his non-triathlon time as an Electronic Engineer, and is generally found in the pool.

Kaz Chau

Kaz fell into triathlons whilst living the expat life in Shanghai & loved swim/bike/running as a method to explore Asia. Returning to Melbourne in 2020, Kaz joined HTC in 2021 & looks forward to rediscovering this great city with like minded people by water, wheels & feet.

Samantha Zeps

Sam found triathlon 7 years ago and fell in love with the sport primarily because of the incredible people she met along the way. She has competed in sprint, olympic, half-Ironman and full Ironman distance triathlon and has been a member of HTC since moving to Melbourne five years ago.

Ana Silva

Ana joined HTC in 2012 and has raced all distances with the club. She loves to travel, race overseas and take on new challenges. She is looking to complete Peaks Challenge in 2022 and get into trail running.

Elizabeth Moore

Liz fell into triathlon almost 2 years ago, after playing team sports most of her life. She also found it to be an awesome way to make new friends with likeminded people. She’s working back towards Sprint and Olympic distances after injury, and eventually her first 70.3 Ironman. When she’s not training, you’ll find her in the classroom as a secondary school Maths teacher.
