AMY’S GREAT OCEAN ROAD GRAN FONDO IS THE SAFEST AND MOST SPECTACULAR AUSTRALIAN CYCLE EVENT – FEATURING FULLY CLOSED ROADS OF THE VICTORIAN GREAT OCEAN ROAD & OTWAYS. A ‘Gran Fondo’ is an age-old Italian cycling term, meaning ‘great endurance’. Traditionally a Gran Fondo is a timed event that has a scenic, challenging, mountainous course. The distance, terrain and sensational scenery of the Surf Coast and Colac Otway regions makes for a challenging ride and the ideal location for a Gran Fondo.

With it’s iconic beachside location and big city vibe, IRONMAN 70.3 Melbourne is unlike any other race on the Oceania circuit. From race village in the beautiful Catani Gardens in St Kilda, you’ll enjoy expansive views of Port Phillip Bay, palm tree-lined boardwalks, iconic buildings, gorgeous sunsets and all within a few kilometres of the CBD.

The beautiful city of Hobart will provide a playing field like no other, including Oceania’s first ever completely indoor transition right next to historic sandstone buildings of Salamanca. Check in, event village, swim start, and finish all together in the heart of the city, and with plenty of great places to stay and play within walking distance.

Peaks Challenge is a 235km loop starting/finishing at Falls Creek, with more than 4000 metres of climbing accumulated along the way. Set among the the beautiful Victorian Alps, you’ll tackle three infamous climbs—Tawonga Gap, Mount Hotham and the back of Falls Creek—and have 13 hours to get it done. A word of warning, this isn’t your typical weekend bunchie. With 200km in your legs, the back of Falls will hit you like a tonne of bricks

IRONMAN 70.3 Geelong has long been the best-kept secret on the Oceania circuit, with a stunning venue, world-class course, vibrant community and loads of local support. No surprise then that this race was voted #1 in the world in 2018 for Overall Athlete Satisfaction ... it's the ideal race to kick-start your year.

Point Nepean to Point Lonsdale. "The Rip" is a thrilling 3.5km swim across the entrance to Port Phillip Bay, the gateway to Melbourne, Australia. Steeped in history, it is one of the most notorious and thrilling waterways in the world. The swim is done in a team of up 6, but each swimmer completes the entire distance. There is also a race for faster swimmers. in 2024, there will be 2 crossings - 1 in summer and 1 in winter. The winter crossing must be completed without a wetsuit to honour the original crossing by Douglas Mew in 1971. The winter crossing will be announced early in 2024.
